Vandaag werden de Oscar genomineerde bekend gemaakt met hier en daar een aantal grote verassingen. Zo moet Quentin Tarantino wachten op zijn negenende film om ‘Best Original Screenplay’ voor de derde keer te winnen, maar ook Johnny Depp met zijn film Black Mass hebben geen kans om op het podium geroepen te worden. Dit geldt echter niet voor Star Wars, Mad Max: Furry Road en The Revenant die bijna in iedere categorie kans maken. En ja, gaat Leonardo DiCaprio eindelijk de prijs voor beste acteur winnen?
